Os Apaches

A vocal and instrumental group from Varginha (MG), with Silvinho on organ and guitar, Romero on bass, Carlinhos on guitar, Ronaldo on rhythm guitar, Agramir on saxophone and Bejo on drums. They began in the first half of the 1960s, playing at clubs, and later appeared on television and at clubs in Belo Horizonte, Rio and São Paulo. In 1966 they appeared on the Paladium compilation Brasa Show. Silvinho’s song 11º Mandamento gives its title to the record in this collection, a 1968 single on Bemol; Cravo Albin also mentions an LP with that name. Around 1968 they recorded an album with singer Silvio Brito and ended their career shortly afterward.
