Rubinho e Mauro Assumpção

An early-1970s group from Rio de Janeiro, formed around singer Mauro Assumpção and Rubinho, who played acoustic guitar and keyboards. The band also included Marcelo on bass, Gegê on drums, Hermes on percussion and two trumpeters, Formiga and Darci. Its sound followed the psychedelia of California bands from the previous decade. It was short-lived, leaving behind a single LP released by Tapecar in 1972, which the Dicionário Cravo Albin lists as Quando Cheguei and which appears in the collection under the full title Perfeitamente, Justamente Quando Cheguei.
