Umas e Outras

Umas e Outras was a vocal trio formed in 1970 by Regininha, Dorinha Tapajós, and Málu Ballona, all formerly of Turma da Pilantragem, the group created by Nonato Buzar. When that group ended, André Midani and Armando Pittigliani, who ran Philips, suggested that the three continue together. Poucas e Boas appeared that year, produced by Nelson Motta and featuring songs by Joyce, Ivan Lins, Marcos and Paulo Sérgio Valle, Antônio Adolfo and Tibério Gaspar, and Nelson Angelo; "Pigmaleão 70" and "Ondas médias" were used in Globo soap operas. The trio dissolved in 1971: Regininha and Málu pursued solo careers, while Dorinha joined Quarteto em Cy.
