Beto Guedes, Danilo Caymmi, Novelli & Toninho Horta

The LP brings together four musicians and was released by Odeon in 1973, but the available sources cover only one of them: Beto Guedes, born in Montes Claros (MG) in 1951 and the son of composer Godofredo Guedes. At the age of 18, he entered Feira Moderna, written with Lô Borges and Fernando Brant, in the V Festival Internacional da Canção. He performed and composed on both volumes of Clube da Esquina, the landmark album by the Minas Gerais songwriting collective. His individual career began in 1977 with A Página do Relâmpago Elétrico; the following year, the title track of Amor de Índio became his greatest success. Alma de Borracha, released in 1986, earned him his first gold record.
