Recordando o Vale das Maçãs

The group was formed in Santos in 1973 according to Wikipedia and MusicBrainz (Wikidata gives 1974), bringing together Fernando Pacheco, Fernando Motta and Domingos Mariotti with the idea of translating the sounds of nature into music. With its lineup expanded to include violin, flutes, keyboards, bass and drums, it recorded As Crianças da Nova Floresta in 1977, although the album did not reach stores until 1978, through the GTA label. The band was signed by TV Tupi and later produced specials for TV Cultura. It returned in the 1990s with As Crianças da Nova Floresta II and, in 1997, performed at the Fête de la Musique in Paris.
